As I lay here in my half cold bed
The lonesome blues playing in my head
My thoughts are sad and shared with none
I know now why they say the loneliest number is one
I feel the endless empty need of another
But so afraid to open up, so I just ponder
They say God hand picks the one for you
I wish and pray and hope this to be true
The nights are long, with too much time to think
My mind races and I feel I'm at the brink
No person is meant to be alone
No life to be lived like a drone
I want to love and live again
To share my life, my thoughts within
God grant me this wish I pray
Let me find someone to love each day.....
